Google announces the 2016 Android Experiments I/O Challenge

Did you already got a ticket for the Google I/O this year? If not take the chance to get personally invited by Google.

Last summer Google announced Android Experiments, a site where app developers can share their indie app projects. They only have some requirements:

  • Creative uses of Android's new or distinctive features
  • Projects that explore how we interact with our devices, in small and big ways
  • Unique visual aesthetics
  • Open source projects that inspire other developers
  • …or other surprising projects

If you have a great idea in your mind, start your project now and submit it until the 13rd of April to (the page seems to be offline at the moment). You can also earn some prizes if you are the winner. The top three winners of the contest will receive a trip to this year's Google I/O, and the five runner-ups will get the new Nexus 6P.
