Icon Pack News #1 - Polycon, PixBit, CandyCons, Glif...

Using icon packs is one of the the most common ways to customize an Android device.

From now on you'll regularly see news regarding to icon packs here on appydroid. This news will be about new icon packs, icon pack updates and other things…

So here we go for the first round:

Polycon

Polycon, one of the most famous icon packs just got an update to version 2.1 with this changelog:

– 20 Folder Icons

– 45 New Icons – Including Alts

– 6 Redesigned icons based on community feedback

– GPlay Music icon has been changed to headphones

– Camera icon has been changed to the original camera icon

– Dyanamic Calendar support has been fixed for Today Calendar

– Added support for Android 4.0 – 4.1

– Clock icon has been changed to the purple variant

– Layout fixes for devices with KitKat and lower

– New donate button

– Hidden easter egg – Hint: Tap object 10 times

This icon pack is really amazing, because all it's icons are looking very awesome and eye-catching.

By the way: The developer told me, he tried to implement the Easter egg, but it didn't work – so there's no Easter egg ?.

PixBit

Also the very unique and cool looking icon pack PixBit got an update. PixBit has a lot of “pixeled” icons – what let your launcher definitely look nerdy. Here's the changelog:

• 100 New Icons!

Yes, that's the only new thing, but it's definitely worth checking out the app!

CandyCons

The designer / developer of PixBit is also the developer of the famous icon pack CandyCons which got an update too:

• 44 New icons!
• Color alts for Google Play Games.

Another icon pack, worth to check

And here's the last recommendation: Glif

Glif is also a pretty cool icon pack with icons, that look like painted.
